OSP Prisoner on Hunger Strike

Correction: we originally posted that Soja started his hunger strike on Jan 24th, he's actually already been on much longer than that.
We just got a call that Cornelius Harris (#525-945) also known as Soja, has been on hungerstrike since Jan 4th. Today he was transferred to Franklin County Medical Center, for reasons unknown.

Soja is demanding a reliable security level step-down procedure and an end to violence and harassment from guards at OSP. His hunger strike is also interrupting a trial process he is going through for criminal charges stemming from defending himself against this harassment, as described by him on RedBirdPrisonAbolition.org.

Please contact Warden David Bobby at OSP and request that Mr. Harris' demands for real change at OSP be met. The prison number is (330) 743-0700 ext 2006 for Warden's Office.
